IB Mathematics AA SL
The IB Maths Analysis and Approaches Standard Level course is ideal for students who wish to study a good level of mathematics but not at a higher level. The rigorous course combines pure and applied mathematics, emphasizing pure mathematics rather than application and interpretation. We focus on creating a solid conceptual understanding of algebraic manipulation and confidence with analytical approaches to the problem.
The standard-level IB Diploma program is divided into seven broad topics

- Functions
- Trigonometry and Circular Functions
- Differentiation
- Integration
- Probability
- Statistics
The approach to these topics is structured to stimulate analysis, facilitate investigation, and invite substantiation and theorising.
